Beautiful weather over the last few days -- cool, crisp days and chilly nights. The dog has wanted to sleep with us on the bed, so she's provided an immovable load some welcome heat. *g*
Reading Hilary Mantel's A Place of Greater Safety. With my brain the way it is nowadays (recalcitrant), I find myself having to page through the previous chapters in order to refresh myself on what I've already read. Sigh. Also, I needed a bit of retail therapy the other day and ordered a few books -- they came this week. I purchased Stephen King's newest doorstop, 11/22/63 (okay, a doorstop that's gotten excellent reviews so far), Haruki Murakami's newest (also a doorstop) 1Q84, Flapper, by Joshua Zeitz, and Denise Gigante's The Keats Brothers. Looking forward to them all.
And so it goes. :-)
