By virtue of some inexplicable rift in the time-space continuum, this morning it was cloudy and only about 83 degrees (28.3 degrees Celsius). Now the sun has come out; it's warmed up and is terribly humid, but the clouds were such a relief while they lasted.
To the dentist this morning to have a back molar pulled. For a while I was stuffed with gauze and talking like Marlon Brando in The Godfather. Also they gave me a prescription for Vicodin (heh). What I really hate (aside from the wrenching and tugging itself) is this icky numbness, where about half your face feels fake. Ugh.
Here's a short article from the Guardian on 'Macho' Jesus. I quite enjoyed the illustration that goes with the report. *g*
