Hazy sun (veiled, as our local weatherguy said, which I thought was an interesting and lovely turn of phrase), still quite cold at 33 degrees (0.6 degrees Celsius). A few very small patches of unmelted snow in shady spots. More birds at the feeders -- chickadees, goldfinches, wrens, juncos.
Hardly any sleep last night for various reasons, and then I see this. (Yes, it's the friggin' "blood libel" thing.) Y'know, if she knew exactly what that phrase meant she shouldn't have used it. If she didn't know what it meant she shouldn't have used it. Shameful. And this person could've been a heartbeat away from the Presidency. Thanks, John McCain. Your gift just keeps on giving. :-(
