Sunny, warm, and I think a tad more humid than it was yesterday. 95 degrees (35 degrees Celsius), supposed to get up to 99 today (it was 102 yesterday, and in the Summer From Hell, 1980, it was 109).

Watched 2012 last night -- good lord, what a lumbering trainwreck of a movie! Still, the special effects were AWESOME. The story ... did I mention the special effects were AWESOME? Heh. I did like the Croatian actor Zlatko Buric as the Russian oligarch, whose generosity extended only so far and who could roll his Rs like nobody's business. "Eees Rrrrrrrussian," he would say about the very big airplane, and it made me smile. I also could've watched Johann Urb flashing his shiny white teeth and channeling Errol Flynn all night long. Anyway. Must go to the grocery store today and do laundry.
