Bright sun, which is very welcome after an all-day rain yesterday. Cool at 47 degrees, 8.33 Celsius.
Need to go to grocery store today. In the meantime, two news stories ... one of them local. There was a catastrophic fire early this morning in Old East Dallas. It destroyed a section of Lower Greenville Avenue, including the Greenville Avenue Bar & Grill. I doubt anyone else reading this knows what I'm talking about, but this is really sad news. It was a Greenville Avenue landmark. Mr. N and I used to go there, along with places like Genaro's, Raphael's, the Dixie House, the San Francisco Rose, Three Vikings, Crackers ... restaurants and bars, some of which are long gone.
Also, in Britain ... death by gyrocopter. YIKES!
