Sunny and cool, 59 degrees. Stayed up way too late last night but I got a fic out of it so that's something. :-)

More later, but first -- have an article on a 140-million-year-old spider's web in amber.

Yes, you guessed it -- Mr. N is carving a pumpkin. Good job there, hon. You have fun with that stringy, seedy ... goop.

In other news, I thought this article on female professors at DePaul University being denied tenure was very interesting. Also about to put story up, and it's still sunny and beautiful outside.

Characters: House, Jimmy Wilson.
Rating: A soft "R" for language.

Summary: On All Hallows' Eve, it's come as you are. 1,208 words, gen.
Disclaimer: Don't own 'em. Never will.
Author Notes: This story is an AU, set in the Divergence-verse. It's a world pretty much like our own, with a few important differences -- among them, a James Wilson who was knocked off his bicycle and hit his head when he was eight years old. LJ-cut text from Comfortably Numb, by Pink Floyd.
