It's pretty warm outside -- 98 degrees, to be exact. Still, Chango found enough energy to (a) help me hang a new bird feeder, and (b) bark at a squirrel that was stretched out on a branch over her head. Heh.
Went to Lowe's today for a/c filters and had to go up and down the aisle twice before I finally spotted our size. For some god-unknown reason, our air-exchange cutout is not one of the standard sizes -- it's 12" x 36" x 1", which are apparently the most ODDBALL dimensions on the face of the planet. Gah. Anyway, once I found them I got two 3-packs, because I always feel as if I might never find them again. And then I got a new bird feeder. It's one of those wire-tube things, with a nice big metal saucer at the bottom. I've already seen a chickadee checking it out. :-)
Then I went to the grocery store, and that wasn't nearly as exciting. But so it goes.
