Partly cloudy, 72. Had another huge line of thunderstorms roll through about 4 a.m. -- lots of lightning, loud thunder, pouring rain. Happily, it looks like the storms are finally done for this week -- it's not supposed to rain again until Saturday.

Last poem for Poetry Month coming up in a bit. Not sure what else is on the agenda today -- drinking more coffee for sure. And yeah, I seem to be 51 today. Not quite sure how that happened. *g*

Thursday Evening

OMG so tired from only getting about two or three hours sleep last night. Husband is picking up Chinese food (hot & sour soup, chicken chow mein, orange beef). Very quiet birthday -- the best kind. *g* Also refilled the feeder and put out the fresh suet pack -- less than 5 minutes later, while I was still in the yard, a downy woodpecker came to the suet cage. A sign. Of something. Hee.

Trying to figure out the rules of yet another AU. That's fun.
