A little overcast and cool, more humid.

Started reading Reading the OED yesterday, enjoying it so far (we're up to the letter "J", hee).

Need to do lots of stuff today, stuff I've just been neglecting and/or putting off. What else? Need to write down the last few things we need for Thanksgiving (cranberries, champagne).

More coffee.

Sunday Afternoon and A Photo

Argh, headachey all day and a scratchy throat. Still a little overcast and still humid.

Going to broil a nice porterhouse pork chop for dinner; Mr. N got some fresh green beans the other day so we'll probably have those and a green salad, and a Russian River chardonnay.

I'm a big fan of the shorpy.com site, or, as they call it, "History in HD." One of the photos they have up today just really caught my attention. It's under the cut, along with a link to the original (which can be viewed full-size and in very high-resolution).
