nightdog_barks: Can of Maryland Club ground coffee (Coffee)
69 degrees, a little breezy. Supposed to get up to about 80 today. Chango is running around in the backyard barking.

Woke up around 5 and was thinking about ficly stuff when a couple of characters invaded my thoughts. It wasn't House or Wilson, or Sheppard or McKay ... it was ... Elliott Stabler and Olivia Benson, from Law & Order. They want a crossover. With House. I had talked about writing one at one time, but that story turned into the Creechville WIP. So. I'll have to think about this -- one of the problems with "brilliant" fic ideas that you get at 5 in the morning? They aren't always so brilliant in the cool light of day. Heh.

The CD anthology I ordered arrived this morning, which makes me happy.

Mr. Nightdog requested bread-making today, so I'll probably do that. Last poem for Poetry Month is coming up (although there may be a Speshul Bonus Pome also).

What else? Well, I am fifty today. My goodness me. *drinks more coffee for good measure*

The last poem* for Poetry Month is ... about poetry. It's by Billy Collins, former U.S. Poet Laureate.

Does not include drafts but does include "unpublished" pieces. Two short Houseficlets, for a total word count of 2,289.

Surprise, surprise -- it's a poem about a birthday, from Stanley Kunitz.

Tomorrow I'll post a little rundown of all the poems, what the comment statistics were, which ones didn't make it into the month, and the amazing case of the poem that sparked a Housefic.
