Sunny but still very damp. Sinuses are in rebellion and have blocked up my left ear. Gah. Makes me feel all sixes and sevens.
Need to do ... things. Gah, again. I'm just in a horribly crabby mood.
ETA: Almost forgot. Was researching Annals V late last night and ran across this site -- Fayoum Portraits, from Greek/Roman Egypt. These are portraits, usually painted on wood, that were placed in or on mummies to show what the person looked like. They are extraordinary -- real people looking out at us across all this time. Note that in this series (the site is French) there is also a "soldat" and a "centurion romain."
