The Garden of Evening Mists? It is good, but it starts really REALLY slowly, and it's one of those books you could just say "Well, this is boring," and set it aside. But the reviewers on Amazon said it picks up the further you get into it, so I'm hoping they're right.

I heard it snowed in some parts of the UK this weekend! What crazy weather.
