I suspect that it's not so much that he doesn't know, but that he prefers to believe what fits in with his parochial world view, which is exceedingly twisted and exceedingly narrow. And one of the Very Important Things the Republicans need to accomplish is to free all of those poor innocent
whitemen of the burden of potentially being accused of rape by lying sluts. Think of the poor abusedupper and middle classwhitemen! They are the most oppressed and persecuted class ever! (Pardon me, I had to suppress the urge to vomit after writing that, but I have actually seen that precise claim from the more acephalic MRA assholes. It staggers belief.)
