That's an anole lizard. Sometimes (usually when they're sitting on one of our pineapple plants on the deck) they're bright green. This one was really only about five or six inches long, and had obviously had some previous encounter where it'd lost a bit of its tail.

Last bit of tail, lost.
Mr. N was able to shoo it gently back outside with a small terrycloth towel while I held Chango's collar (she was very interested in the toy that moved by itself).
Otherwise sunny and warm. Hope folks are having a good Saturday. Heard the first cicada of the season today, so I guess summer is here.
