Bright sun, warming up. Supposed to be in the low 70s by the end of the week, which is such a relief after the last couple of weeks. Have been in a dreadful funk the past few days, hopefully the weather will help it dissipate.

Watching rugby on BBC America -- it looks like another game House might have played before deciding lacrosse was safer. *g*

When I was stationed in England some of us used to go watch rugby matches and at one game I saw a bumper sticker on the car of one of the players which said "Rugby players eat their dead" I always though it was appropriate after seeing some of the matches.

Overcast here, but not heavily so -- it's bright, for an overcast day -- and a few random snow flurries now and then.

I got out for my morning appointment and then shipped the big Warehouse Angel off, so I've been fairly productive and now need to continue the trend.

I've been fighting the funk myself. That weird stealth-depression that hits when you're not looking, and makes you stay online and forget everything you meant to do, and when you finally walk out the door it's hard to breathe at first because that's when you feel the weight.

At least, that's how it goes for me, sometimes, and the past couple weeks it's been like that. I think I'm pulling out of it but it's never a straight upward trajectory. It looks more like a graph of the stock market.

I had a huge funk yesterday, and I broke out of it by leaving the building. Even though I was going to another building, getting out and moving did the trick.

Is there anywhere you can take a walk nearby? Even just around the neighborhood is good, but if there's a park or something, just head out and see what you can find.

Ah, rugby - who says gladiatorial combat's a thing of the past?

(I had NO IDEA that DW allowed anonymous comments. Can you do me a favor and delete that last one?)

Being stuck in the house this winter is not good for the brain. *hugs*

It's about 50 degrees here and so sunny that it feels warmer than that. (It's not really, because there's still unmelted snow in spots of deep shade.) It was so nice to get outside today, and I haven't needed any pain medication except for two Advil. :)
