Warm and humid again, and our chances of rain have dropped because all the precipitation is developed east of us. GRARRR!!!

About last night's episode of House ... something that bugged me, and why I hated the ending (although not for the reason you might think) ...  )

So. Thus endeth the rant. Tired now. :-)

Sunny, warm and windy. 70 degrees (21.1 degrees Celsius), have the back door and some of the windows open.

Keep forgetting to mention that the other night I dreamed [personal profile] topaz_eyes and I were ... cleaning out a refrigerator. Which had clear glass shelves, and all the food in the fridge was in clear plastic containers. Also, we were teasing a guy who was there (what guy?), named John O'Brien (who's he?). Brain, IDEK.

Dreamed last night that I watched the Season 8 opener of House. The series had moved to the cable channel Showtime, and House had moved to Australia. Or New Zealand, I'm not sure which (sorry, Aussies and Kiwis on my f-list). Anyway, he had become a bike messenger (as in bicycle, yes, I know) and an artist. He had a girlfriend, although I never saw her, and he gave her a fire opal pendant. Also he sent a painting to Wilson, who was apparently still in New Jersey. And, this being Showtime, there was a full-frontal shot of House's wang. Which, may I say, is a very nice wang. I am not making any of this up; my subconscious was. IDEK, chiclets.

So. Need to go to the grocery store today. I'd much rather go to Australia. Or New Zealand. :-D

Beautiful weather today -- clear blue skies, a light wind out of the north ... although it's already 80 degrees (26.7 degrees Celsius). Got a lot done yesterday (before the storms), need to do more stuff today.

As for the continuing fallout over The Episode, I noticed this Twitter exchange last night.

Anyway. Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday. :-)

I can only hope Nick R. of Hawkforce was pulling the reporter's leg when he said this:

“The natural predator of these hawks is prairie dogs, which is why they don’t like them," he said. "They would not try to carry them off.”

Because otherwise I'd say he doesn't know a damn thing about hawks and probably shouldn't be handling one.

Prairie dogs, small cuddly herbivores.
Harris hawk ... not.

From the Telegraph: Harris hawks, used to control pigeons in Central London, have been attacking small dogs.
