Early Wednesday
Husband's alarm went off at 3:45 this morning. Not an electrical bug -- he actually had to get up in order to catch the red-eye to Miami for a business trip. So although I did go back to sleep, I'm a little zonked today. Sunny and warm; we're not expected to get any rain from the South Texas hurricane.
bironic -- I got your postcard yesterday! It's lovely -- the Madaba Mosaic Map is just awesome. *hugs*
And now ... more coffee.

Hey there, Nightdog. I just this second put up an Update Post of my own (however brief), partly because I figured you wouldn't be making one this morning.
Or ... afternoon, here in Florida. I'm packing up artwork now and have already cleaned out the bed of my F-150, which is where most of the art is going to ride. I think.
My fish tank, betta, and the table on which the tank lived, all went out the door to a friend of mine yesterday. Two fewer things to worry about.
ETA: 3:45?!? Blurgh. And he has to go to Miami? In July? He has my condolences. As do you for the rudely-awokenness. Also: more coffee here, too.

And yay! for moving! I love road trips.

1. pulling 12' trailer
2. self, Mom, and Cat (in carrier, but still) all in single-cab 1996 F-150.
At least the truck has bench seats and I have drugs for the cat.

... JOKE. I'M JOKING.
Hee. I'm very glad you're not making this drive alone, though.

For my mom, the only necessary drug is chocolate.
For me, there will absolutely be either a beer or a glass of red wine with dinner each night. Absolutely.

Feeling pretty zonked myself. I'm back to having the "lie awake until 2:30, stagger out of bed at 7:30" brand of insomnia.

Anyway, 3:45! EEEK!
Z is napping (here's hoping for 2 solid hours!) so I am playing online. And waiting for the mechanic to call and tell me what the hell is wrong with my car.

Nothing from Poland yet, but I'll keep an eye out. It's probably just taking longer ...
