Tuesday

Got out today and ran a few errands and did early voting so I won't have to stand in line in two weeks. Was mildly surprised to see so many Libertarians on the ballot. I didn't vote for any of them (sorry, any Libertarians that are on my f-list), but I did vote for some Greens.

Weather is still too damn warm.

Too damn warm? Winter's come early here, it's been snowing for days now and isn't supposed to stop until next week. Some of the ski hills are opening this weekend.
I always vote Green, though it's like throwing my vote away (sigh).

Ha, my vote (our votes, Mister Nightdog's and myself's) are lost here too, tiny blue dots in a sea of red. Still, I thought seriously about voting for Jill Stein, the Green candidate for President, but in the end ... idk, I guess I wanted my vote to mean something for Obama here. I think this is the first year I've been really unhappy with our entrenched system, because the way it is right now it pretty much ensures no third-party candidate can ever gain enough traction to be elected to a big office. Ross Perot probably came closest in 1992, but even he didn't win any electoral votes.
