Warm and humid -- 91 degrees at the moment (32.8 degrees Celsius), but with the humidity it feels as if it's 96. Still, need to get out and run a couple of errands. Bleh.

Something that did make me smile this morning -- from the Guardian, childrens' book illustrator Oliver Jeffers teaches us how to draw a penguin. Step 1: borrow a penguin. :-D

Also, l_eremita, are you around? I think you would really like these icons. Other folks probably would, too, so take a look at those and the other collections in the journal.

The penguin art lesson is adorable. :)

It's very warm and sunny today, but not unbearably hot. I spent a while this morning driving Miss V. around town on errands and may do something wild and crazy like lie down and read for a while.

I need to get motivated and go out -- I know a haircut will make things All Better. ;-)

Haircuts usually do. :) I bought a cute new swimsuit on clearance while we were running errands and I'm hoping to get to try it out today, if the daily thunderstorm holds off.

Those icons were lovely. It's finally turned warm and sunny here. I took my kitty to the vet for her vaccine booster shot, and she peed on me when I crammed her into her crate!

Aren't those beautiful icons? The Greek & Roman ones were lovely, as were the outer space set, and I really fell in love with the ones by the Czech artist (the angels and wings).

It was hot here. As usual. Sigh.
