Sunday
Sunny and warm -- 89 degrees (31.7 Celsius). Watched the last 30 or so minutes of the England/Germany World Cup game ... ouch. The columnist covering the action for The Guardian had a pretty funny observation at the beginning of the game:
The anthems are played. First Germany's. Then a song about God saving the head of the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. That's not fair! Germany have had two. Don't England get a turn? The red-clad English players take it well, though, shaking hands along the line with their counterparts in white shirts and black shorts. The wait is over. We're about to get going ...
Heh. Laundry, other stuff today.

It's hot and sunny here today. Poor Corgiguy has been out repairing overhead lights in the garage in this heat. I went to church with the Presbyterians this morning and been puttering and occasionally going outside to hold light bulbs and pliers for CG while he's up on the ladder.

I was out refilling the spare feeder and oh my God it's STEAMING outside. It is so enervating, even after just a short time. Bleh!
