Sunday Night

Gah. Finally better today. Wonderfully cool tonight (dipping into the 50s), hormonal storm has broken (why, yes, perimenopausal woman having another period, thank you very much), and we had a very nice dinner (grilled London Broil). Plus we listened to a very nice CD (Boulevard, St. Germain), and watched a good ball game (Boston Red Sox at Minnesota Twins). And we had some excellent red wine (Penfold's Koonunga Hill Shiraz/Cabernet). And some more of the Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream.

Is that not enough? Are we not entertained? (Line stolen from Gladiator.) What else? I don't know. I need to write a House/Holmes story. As if I didn't have enough already making me weep because I'm so far behind. *g*

Heh! I'm not even going to mention the bizarre bouncings of my Internetz connection today -- something which caused me to Curse Loudly and Frighten Mr. Nightdog. *snerk*

Yay for grading! It sounds as if you're really wrapping things up! When is the semester over?

Yes, wrapping up is a great term! (I just stopped in to add 3 more assignments to my progress bar. I'm not calling it quits tonight until I'm at 80%.) Tomorrow is the Last Class Day, then our Finals Week is very screwy this year: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Monday the 19th. So--I have the TAKE HOME OF DOOM due to me on Friday, and my freshman class has their final on Monday. I have to have grades in by the 22nd. And then I'm done done done!!!!

Except, of course, I have to write my ass off this summer. But I'll cross that bridge after finals. :)
