I think we were there in the wrong season for whales. It really was just incredible how the river kept getting bigger and bigger the farther northeast we went. And the accents got stronger and the more we felt like we needed to speak French instead of English. It's really interesting to be somewhere where the local McDonald's serves lobster rolls along with the Quarter Pounders. *g*
Make sure you note the outrageous prices too, bleh. Sorry about those.
