So far (about three-quarters of the way through) it is a good story! The funny thing is, I thought I had read this book when it came out, in 2007, but I guess either I didn't or it's been wiped from my memory, because I don't remember any of it. Which is a good thing, as it all reads new to me. :D

That's too bad about your 1920s San Francisco book! It sounds like such a promising premise.
