The radiation people were DECISIVELY behind schedule today, which made for a long wait. You see all kinds of folks at the clinic; today there was an older guy wearing a bright red baseball cap with white letters -- "JESUS IS LORD." He was talking to another guy, younger than him, who'd been rendered breathless by walking from the front desk to his seat. They apparently knew each other, and after some short conversation they prayed quietly together. Just another day in oncology.

As for me ... 20 down. Just 13 to go.



Stopped by the grocery store on the way home and was rewarded by overhearing a toddler ask one of the meat-counter butchers if she was a doctor. The white coat, y'see. I LOL'd, for real, as did the toddler's mom.

Beautiful weather today, 72 degrees (22.2 degrees Celsius). Supposed to be even warmer tomorrow.
