Tuesday
Bright sun but much cooler after a cold front came through yesterday. 54 degrees (12.2 degrees Celsius), a light breeze out of the east northeast.
Thought this was hilarious -- Minnesota graffiti artist protects Titian's 'Venus' from the freezing temps. Hee.

And it's even more wonderful because the museum staff think it's funny, instead of being outraged. <3 Good people.

I've had some good news: a client I thought had flaked out, emailed me this morning and said she's ready to schedule the (small, but very helpful bill-paying-wise) job.
Foot is doing better, and has a fascinating pattern of bruises developing on the sole, of all things; laundry must get done, ibuprofen taken, and then I must trek back home for a few hours for work reasons.
I was blessed with assistance in digging out the truck. A fellow named Tim stopped when he saw me and pulled the Snowblower of Awesomeness out of his van (yes, I had a moment of worry that he might try to pull me into his van instead, but it turned out I was not in a movie plot after all).

Been insanely busy at work today, but Jeannie brought her dog with her and that was fun. He's a big gray merle-sable collie with one blue eye, and is just the sweetest fellow.

Okay, it's great that the museum staff are amused instead of offended. It is. I wonder what the artist's real motivation was.
