So it is a gorgeous day, here. Clear, sunny, beautiful, not even windy. When I was shoveling I realized I'd have been comfy in a t-shirt, what with the exertion and all.
I've had some good news: a client I thought had flaked out, emailed me this morning and said she's ready to schedule the (small, but very helpful bill-paying-wise) job.
Foot is doing better, and has a fascinating pattern of bruises developing on the sole, of all things; laundry must get done, ibuprofen taken, and then I must trek back home for a few hours for work reasons.
I was blessed with assistance in digging out the truck. A fellow named Tim stopped when he saw me and pulled the Snowblower of Awesomeness out of his van (yes, I had a moment of worry that he might try to pull me into his van instead, but it turned out I was not in a movie plot after all).
