I enjoyed this very much and it fits both of them! Love the way House seems to have fun with it and how Wilson is flustered (of course), but also looking out for him at the end. Somehow the only hinted at backstory with the police detective and this - "Are you really so satisfied with this?" / House did not answer ... - and the general way you wrote House here made me think of his "Everything sucks. Might as well find something to smile about." from "Safe".
I also read the source and this made me laugh: Not that we imagine the reader will ever desire to visit these houses. Certainly not; he is, we do not doubt, a member of the Bible Society [...] But we point out the location of these places in order that the reader may know how to avoid them [...] That book poses a lot more questions than it answers.
