I'm with you. Rewriting history isn't going to stop people from repeating it, quite the opposite. In happier news, after a MONTH I finally have telephone service in my new apartment. It turns out the first telephone technician didn't connect the wires properly in the main panel and whoever installed the wires in the building didn't connect them to my apartment. The tech warned I'd be sent a bill and I said fine, I'll just give it to my landlord. Did I mention that all of the doorknobs are installed upside down? I think the light fixture above my dining room table is installed upside down as well.
