Ugh, slept but didn't rest last night. Cloudy, warm and windy today -- 76 degrees (24.4 Celsius) with 67% humidity. It's supposed to be warm until Thursday, when we'll get an Arctic blast that will give us the first freeze of the season.

Never got motivated enough to go out yesterday so must do that today (along with laundry). In the meantime -- secret sealed room discovered in India's National Library.

There's another opportunistic bug playing around in my head again - this is something like the fourth cold/sinus infection I've gotten since moving in here. I think it's less New York and more sharing my living space with so many other people. Which is a long-winded way of saying I'm having a hard time motivating myself to go out too.

Yep, I'd agree on the other people theory, especially in close quarters like that. Just about every time Mr. N goes on a business trip, he comes back sniffly.

My temperature's gone up a degree since last night and I called the volunteer place to say I won't come in today since I'm fairly sure I'm still contagious. I'll try to get other things accomplished today instead.
