Tuesday and a Fic Rec
Hazy autumn sun today, with a light wind out of the south. 72 degrees (22.2 Celsius). More housely stuff to do -- need to fold and put away laundry from yesterday. May get a haircut.
All very exciting, so here's something better to do -- readhannahrorlove's marvelous story Consequence Chose. This fic is a companion piece to another story (by Hannah) called Blood Letting (you don't have to read it first), and is a deeper exploration of Wilson's family, who happen to be werewolves. Which is a completely normal thing in this beautifully-crafted AU. It's a real world with real people, no matter what form they take, struggling with very human problems. I was still thinking about this family late last night, and I'm still thinking about them today. This is a powerful piece of work, and I can't recommend it highly enough.
