Your "not a lot to read" kid is getting National Geographic confused with Ranger Rick.
Also, hi! I went to site, finished the last two big honking baluster posts, finished one side of a door I'd begun a couple days ago, finished some baseboards in the sunroom (against my better judgment; too much dust still flying in the vicinity, but not today and likely not tomorrow, so I'm hoping it'll be all right) -- and found myself unable to safely do much more. The other stuff that needs done isn't ready or in a couple cases even reachable right now. I could go into the hallway (coming in from the garage) but the likelihood of my work getting damaged, what with all the contractors, dust, and tools in and out ... pretty high. We'd agreed that would be the last area I did, for that reason.
So I left Mark a message and asked him to call me when the next things were ready for me. I think I've got 3 or 4 more days there, total.
And today I get a short breather before I have to go teach class, and I am happy about that.
