Sunny and warming up -- 71 degrees (21.6 Celsius) with a bit of a wind out of the south-southwest. Probably time to take the flannel sheets off the bed.
Here's a fairly strange little story from Indiana, in which an argument over pot roast leads to multiple stabbings at a local food store -- except it wasn't people who were being attacked. I can't help but love the utterly deadpan comments by the Deputy Chief of Police David Lutz:
“Him and her had a few words, and then a couple hours later, he’s down there at the Jay C Food Store doing this.”

Date: 2010-03-30 05:28 pm (UTC)It's a lovely sunny day, mild enough that the Padre conducted a meeting outside on the front porch. Gives me hope that spring is really here.

Date: 2010-03-30 05:38 pm (UTC)It sure feels like spring here. I'm pulling the heavy quilt and flannel sheets off the bed and opening windows.

Date: 2010-03-30 05:51 pm (UTC)...I mean, destroying meat in a supermarket isn't exactly the way to keep people from eating meat. All it really accomplishes is that those beeves were raised and butchered for nothing. DUDE.
Anyway: Hi Nightdog! *waves* I'm done with class for the day, and now it's on to Other Things, including an eye doctor appointment later. But first: Sweet-n-sour pork for lunch.

Date: 2010-03-30 06:09 pm (UTC)As a matter of fact, I'm betting what he was REALLY thinking was: SUPERMARKET MEAT = GRANDMA = STABBITY STAB STAB. Y/Y? *g*
And I am doing bedroom-y things -- folding a few clothes, stripping the bed, etc.
Mmmmm ... sweet and sour pork!

Home at last, but I need to get cleaned up, for I have been to the barn. More later.

Date: 2010-03-31 02:31 am (UTC)Maybe I'll make some peppermint tea or something.
Therapist took stitches out of my hand today, checked everything out and said I'm doing very, very well. Lots of massage-y stuff now, to keep things soft and reduce adhesions, and re-train the damaged nerves.
