Monday
Bright sun, but chilly at 42 degrees. Tomorrow's weather is supposed to deteriorate (freezing rain? grrr) so need to get dog food and some other stuff today. Also playing around with a sequel to Carry Me Home -- we'll see how it goes.

BUT NOW I AM BACK. HA!
It went very well. Lovely homeowners, little cute girl-baby who looks like a tiny Frida Kahlo -- brown eyes complete with wispy little brows that taper into a barely-touching v in the middle. And a gleeful Georgia-clay-colored Golden Retriever named Dakota, who Loves Me, but it's nothing personal since she loves everyone.
Also the sun is shining for the first time in a week or more, which makes me happy. May it shine on Texas again very soon.

Heh. You know,
And yeah, Goldens are notorious for loving everyone. ;-D

Now I've got an hour or so before I have to head out again, this time to the barn, where Twilight has a pedicure appointment. So I think I will have more coffee, and a bit of food, and photograph the two little pears I finished yesterday.

I am home today, as Z and I and the Mr all have flu shot appointments at 2:30 and we figured it would be better to not take her to daycare today. So, she's going tomorrow and Wednesday, for sure.
Z and I had a relaxing morning, and now she is napping (I think), and I am having a cookie and some TEA. MMMMM. :)

I am getting ready to go run my errands (all two or three of them). Other than that ...
A cookie and tea sound delicious! :-)

I am about to post some art, and then get changed into Barn Clothes and head for the Barn.

On the way home I stopped at the pharmacy, the grocery store and Kmart, and must start making soup for dinner in just a bit.

Heh! Somehow this sounds like a lead-in to It's A Wonderful Life!

(*A lot of money is run through St. P's at Christmas time, but we don't keep most of it. Much of it is sent on to Heifer Project and other outreach programs, and people will give to things like the youth group's fundraiser.)
